FAQs

When is the next Marks and Spencer sale?

M&S always has a good selection of discounts on the website, from clothing to lingerie homeware to furniture. To find the latest deals, click the Offers tab on the website, it'll take you to the savings hub so you can easily see the deals. Not only this, but there are normally end-of-season sales, so we'd say it's worth joining the M&S mailing list so you can find out exactly when the sales are happening.

Is there a Marks and Spencer new customer discount?

No, M&S doesn't currently offer a newsletter sign-up/first order discount code. However, joining the mailing list will give you access to exclusive offers that are tailored to you, so it will help you save in the long run

Does Marks and Spencer do student discount or NHS discount?

M&S doesn't do a student discount or NHS discount at the moment but not to worry, there are loads of ways to save on your homeware, clothing and beauty products at the retailer. Read our handy Hints & Tips section further down the page to find out how!

Can I get free delivery at Marks and Spencer?

You can get free delivery at M&S but only if your order is over £60. If you don't qualify for the minimum spend, there's a delivery charge of £3.50. Standard delivery takes 5-7 working days to arrive, so if you choose this service, make sure you order your goodies with plenty of time.

Can I get my Marks and Spencer order the next day?

Yes, you can get Next Day delivery at M&S. You can also opt for Nominated Day delivery if you'd prefer. Both these options cost £4.99 and you must order before 8pm to guarantee next day delivery.

Does Marks and Spencer do Click & Collect?

Yes indeed, you can collect your M&S order in-store. Click & Collect is free to use and your items can be collected the next day if you place your order by 11am. Once your order is ready for collection M&S will contact you to let you know, and you'll have 7 days to collect from your chosen store. Make sure you bring your order confirmation with you when you go to collect.

Can I return my items to Marks and Spencer?

Marks & Spencer has a slightly longer returns period compared to most brands, with up to 35 days to return items from the purchase date. Sale items however have a short return period of just 14 days from purchase. If you have ordered online, the returns period starts once the order has been delivered or collected from the designated collection point.

What payment methods does Marks and Spencer accept?

Marks & Spencer accepts a number of different payment methods including M&S Bank, American Express, Visa and Mastercard, and online payment portals PayPal and Apple Pay. M&S also offers a number of payment options that allow you to spread the cost of your shopping, including Clear Pay, Sparks Pay, M&S credit card and PayPal pay in 3. Make sure you have read and understood the credit terms on any spread payment platforms before committing.

Hints & tips

Your Marks and Spencer discount code offers a great way to save on your shopping and is especially useful against a high-ticket item, such as a Marks & Spencer coat. But there are other ways to save too.

Sign up for the Sparks Card: Getting yourself a Sparks card opens up a heap of offers for you to enjoy, including exclusive deals that are designed just for you, given on the things you love.

Keep an eye out for sales: Marks & Spencer offers excellent sales at the end of a season, although the brand often also offers discounts and deals during the season. As a standalone retailer you can not buy Marks & Spencer products through other stores, however, Marks & Spencer does sell a number of British clothing brands, so you can often find great offers on more than one brand.

Sign up for the newsletter: Be the first in the know for new drops, the latest offers and when sales are on the way with the Marks & Spencer newsletter. It delivers inspiration and exclusive offers straight to your inbox.

Check out the ‘On offer’ section: While M&S isn’t always in sale mode, it does always have a selection of offers in a dedicated ‘Offer’ category. This can be anything from a discount on selected products to bundle deals such as 3-for-2 offers on certain items. A great way to stock up on wardrobe essentials (the offers are often on basics), look out for these offers when you’re online or sign up for the Marks and Spencer newsletter so you can make your money go that bit further.

Download the app: The M&S app makes shopping a whole lot simpler. It gives you access to the Sparks card so you're never without it, plus the app offers you exclusive offers and you're able to skip the queue in-store with Scan & Shop.

A Sparks Card gives you loads of great benefits including exclusive offers to help you save on the products you love. Not only this but also:

  1. You'll get a chance to win what you’re buying in-store as each week a Sparks card holder is selected at random and given their shopping for absolutely nothing!
  2. Sparks card holders also have the opportunity for little treats and surprise gifts, these are selected at random and happen on a daily basis, increasing your chances for that special moment.
  3. Of course, it’s not just Marks & Spencer clothing that can get discounted, there are numerous Marks & Spencer coffee shops and once you’ve bought 6 hot drinks in-store, you’ll get your next drink for free.
  4. Giving shopping the feel-good factor, Marks & Spencer will make a charitable donation to a charity of your choice, every time you shop. While this option won’t save you money, it will save you time. If you buy your food from Marks & Spencer, you can use the Sparks app to digitally scan your food shopping, so you won’t have to queue at the checkout.
  5. Bring in pre-loved clothes for Marks & Spencer and pop them into one of the 'Shwop' boxes in-store. This will ensure the clothes are recycled, resold or reused, rather than going to landfill, and if you’re a Sparks card holder, if you scan the QR code on the top of the box, you’ll get a treat in your Sparks hub.

M&S fashion & lingerie shopping guide

Marks & Spencer’s bra fitting is well-regarded and this is supported by Marks & Spencer bras being top of their game too. With feminine styles in a host of colours, these are lingerie sets for all occasions, from dressing up to everyday basics, ensuring you're well-lifted and feeling you’re best too. Our current favourite is the new season Lexington style, a wired, full-cup bra, that is fashion-forward, yet supportive. Part of the Autograph range, the Lexington is one of the best bras for larger busts, available in cup sizes F-H and comes in back sizes 30-42, making it a more inclusive style. Shoppable in two colours, classic black and the Pantone Colour of the Year 2023, Magenta, this trend-inspired bra fuses practical style and sexiness into one. The four-part cup design curves around the underbust, lifting it to give maximum shape and fullness, while the top part of the bra cup enhances the shape of the upper bust. The mix of sheer fabric and lace panelling, along with the central cut-out wire detail adds a high fashion flare for a sensual design. Paired with a matching brief, the brief is high-waisted and has a high-cut leg that also plays with mixed fabrication and lace panelling to mirror the design of the bra. One of our absolute favourites in the Marks & Spencer bra collection this season, the Lexington is a formidable set that will easily become your go-to set.

Want to bolster your spring capsule wardrobe? One category we always check first online is the Marks & Spencer new in dresses tab, as Marks & Spencer’s competitively priced dresses draw on current trends for fashion-forward styles that deliver in the fit department too. Easy to wear and to style, Marks & Spencer midi dresses can regularly be worn from the office to the bar with a few simple tweaks, making them a versatile investment buy, and, as we head into spring, the latest drop is no exception. The Animal Print Tie Neck Midi Waisted Dress is bright blue, giving a nod to one of the biggest fashion colour trends 2023 has to offer. In a wear-for-anything leopard print, this Marks & Spencer dress is both smart and playful, a winning combination in our book. The midi length hemline keeps the dress refined, while the higher neckline makes it suitable for both smart and casual occasions, as well as keeping you that little bit warmer in early spring weather. The fitted short sleeve can be layered effortlessly under a neutral-coloured cardigan, or a black tailored blazer for added sharpness. While the ruched waist design makes this a stylish dress to hide a tummy, nipping you in, before the skirt falls into an A-line design, skimming hips and thighs in the process.

How do we source voucher codes and deals?

We have an expert deals team who dedicate their working hours to finding discount codes, sales, and other great offers to help you save money. They work with affiliate networks and search the web high and low for the best deals around. Once they’ve tested the codes, they add the offers to the brand page for you to redeem.

We also have a partnership team that builds relationships with our brands, negotiating exclusive discount codes (which will be the best offer currently on the market), that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Once they secure an exclusive code, the deals team then add them to the brand page.

Finally, our editorial team provide additional information on each brand, the FAQs provide much-needed answers to your questions and our Hints & Tips give you advice on alternative ways to save money when there isn’t a discount code available.

What if my promo code doesn’t work?

We manually test our codes regularly and include all terms and conditions to help prevent listing codes that don’t work. However, although our promo codes are tested regularly, sometimes a code will expire or the offer details will change without our knowledge. If this happens, feel free to contact us and let us know by emailing vouchers.womanandhome@futurenet.com.

How do we make money?

Our business model works by commission, so when you click one of our offers and then make a purchase on the brand’s website, we get a small percentage of the money that you’ve spent as our offers have helped connect you with the brand.

The way we do this is by dropping a cookie! When you click one of our links, a unique identifier is added that lets the brand know that you’ve come from Woman & Home vouchers, and that’s how we manage to keep these vouchers free to use!
