Mila stole the Duchess of Cambridge's heart when they met back in 2021
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have shared a sweet message on Twitter for cancer patient Mila Sneddon.

We're sure that many children are feeling a little nervous about the new term starting, but one little girl in particular must be feeling a little calmer after a special message of support from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Five-year-old Mila Sneddon has a rare form of blood cancer, which led her to meet the Duchess of Cambridge back in 2021 on her first day of school.
A year later, the Cambridges took the opportunity to wish Mila good luck for the new term ahead.
They wrote on Twitter, "Such an incredible journey. Good luck from all of us at Kensington Palace, Mila," retweeting a picture of Mila outside the school gates, which was originally shared by her mum Lynda Sneddon.

Lynda wrote on Twitter, "First day back at school Very proud ! This is Milas first school year not undergoing treatment . Love you Mila Thank you @NHSGGC for making this possible #ChildhoodCancer #childhoodcancerawareness #BloodCancer #remission #cancerfree."
Fans were quick to praise the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for their kind words, with one writing, "It's incredibly thoughtful and kind of you to tweet this for her."

While another said, "Aw what a lovely message for sweet Mila!! I’m sure she and her family will be over the moon when they read it so happy she is cancer free."
Mila's mother Lynda also thanked the Cambridges for their gesture, writing, "Thank you for your very kind words Mila has settled in well and delighted to be back at school, sending best wishes to you all at KP."
The Duke and Duchess' own children are back at school in just a matter of weeks. With the Cambridge's family home move ahead, it's set to be a busy time for the whole family.
