Prince Harry reunited with his father and brother for two hours after Prince Philip’s funeral
The family reportedly talked away from the cameras at Windsor Castle

Prince Harry reportedly spent two hours with Prince William and their father Prince Charles after the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, inspiring hope for an easing of tension within the family.
- Prince Harry was reunited with his father and brother for Prince Philip’s funeral, which is thought to have been the first time they’d seen each other in person since his and Meghan’s Oprah interview aired.
- It’s been claimed that the family spent two hours together after the funeral, sparking hopes that they are putting any differences aside.
- In other royal news, the Queen carried these sentimental items in her handbag at Prince Philip’s funeral.
Prince Harry returned to the UK last week to join the Royal Family in mourning for his grandfather Prince Philip, who passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle on April 9. The Duke of Sussex was not accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle, who is thought to have been advised against traveling due to her pregnancy. Harry instead saw his family alone for the first time since the Sussexes’ interview with Oprah Winfrey aired last month.
In it, the couple made several shocking claims, including Harry’s suggestion that his father and brother were “trapped” in the royal institution. Since then it was reported that he had spoken with Charles and William but these talks were “not productive”.
Despite the supposed tension between them, however, their shared grief at the loss of Prince Philip seems to have brought them together once more. The brothers both shared heartfelt tributes to their grandfather and Harry described the Queen’s husband of 73 years as a “legend of banter”.

He and William also spoke to each other and walked up to Windsor Castle together following the Duke’s funeral service at St George’s Chapel on April 17. According to The Sun, William and Harry met up with Charles away from the cameras after the televised funeral.
A source revealed: “It is not known what was said behind closed doors and when the cameras were turned off, but it's unfathomable to think Megxit and Oprah did not come up.

“Harry and William appeared cordial as the cameras rolled and that seemed to pave the way for Charles to join them when everyone had left”, they continued.
The publication reports that Charles had talks with his sons and the three remained together at Windsor Castle for two hours after the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.
“It’s early days but you’d hope this is exactly the first step Philip would have wished for” a source explained.

Some have suggested that following this poignant reuniting with his family, Harry could stay for the Queen’s 95th birthday later this month.
Whether or not he chooses to do this, it's thought that Prince Harry will return to the UK again later this year to join Prince William for the unveiling of a memorial statue to their late mother, Princess Diana.
This is due to take place in July, on what would have been the Princess of Wales’ 60th birthday.
