Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis could be seeing a lot more of the Duke of Cambridge when they relocate to Windsor, where the most famous of the Queen's great-grandchildren have officially been enrolled at a posh new school in Berkshire.
Prince William and Kate Middleton confirmed that they are moving to Adelaide Cottage this week, after months of speculation that the senior royals had plans to permanently leave London.
On Monday, Kensington Palace announced that George, 8, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4, would be attending Lambrook School from September 2022.
For the two eldest Cambridge children, the move to the English countryside - which is also the home of the Queen's Windsor Castle - means saying goodbye to their chums at Thomas's Battersea in south London. According to Kensington Palace, William and Kata are "hugely grateful" to the exclusive preparatory academy for giving George and Charlotte "a happy start to their education." They are now "pleased" to have "found a school for all three of their children which shares a similar ethos and values to Thomas’s."
Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be joined at Lambrook by Prince Louis, who is finally old enough to begin primary school after graduating from Willcocks' Nursery School in Kensington in July. It's a major adjustment for the royal trio, who will now share the same morning commute for the first time ever.
The move to Lambrook, which costs £7,000 a term per pupil, will also likely change the Cambridge children's relationship with their father, Prince William. It's been reported that the future King plans to take his three children to school, a journey that has been cut from over half an hour (London traffic!) to just 15 minutes.

"Both William and Catherine are very keen to do the school run," a source told the Sun. It's understood that the duke, 40, is also determined to be more hands-on with his children than Prince Charles, 74, was with him and Prince Harry.
"Prince William has forgiven his father and relations between them are stronger than they have been in some time, but he has been abundantly clear to all that he won’t repeat the way he was prioritized as a child," another insider claimed.
"He feels Prince Charles’ unquestionable work ethic had a direct impact on his upbringing, especially after the death of his mother. Far too often, his father chose his duties over being a dad."
