But this shoe trend walked straight back onto the runway and into our closet. Defined by their multi-strap detail, for summer 2022, we saw all kinds of iterations. From statement knee-high versions to more easily translatable ankle strap designs, surprisingly easy to style, sandal iterations will still work for dry fall days. With stand-out versions were seen at the likes of Alberta Ferretti, Paco Rabanne, Dior Chloé, and Ports 1961, to make this look work into cooler months, look for covered toe iterations that can even be styled with tights, and relegate barely-there versions to summer or winter sun wear only.
