What Boden products were on sale last year?

Shoppers were able to shop the Boden Black Friday sale of 40% off select items throughout the Cyber Weekend last year with deals on offer until the end of Cyber Monday. 

For the last two years, the Boden Black Friday deals were site-wide, with the same offer of up to 40% off new season stock in both 2021 and 2022. Everything from the brand's best jeans to stylish dresses, stand-out party pieces and some of Boden's best winter coats and Christmas jumpers were reduced.

There was also as much as 60% off on some clearance items that were already in the sale section, as well as all kinds of accessories to choose from including bags, shoes and jewellery. Only a few pieces were not included in last year's sales and these were largely brand new-in items. 

Last year saw extra discounts take place during the brand's Cyber Sale, however, by this point, many popular items were sold out. Meaning, if there's a particular piece you've got your eye on and it goes in the sale, it's worth snapping it up while stocks last. If previous experience is anything to go by, Boden will be one of the fastest-selling fashion brands this Black Friday.

How much does Boden's shipping cost?

In the UK, Boden offers free standard delivery when you spend over £50, and you can expect your item to arrive within two to three working days. Express shipping costs £7.95 for next-working-day delivery if ordered Monday to Friday by 7pm. You can also collect your order with Click and Collect for £3.50.

Does Boden offer refunds?

Yes, Boden offer a free returns policy. Previously, free returns only applied to full-price items, but now the brand states that the return window is within 90 days of receipt for full-price products and within 14 days of receipt for sale items. This is great news considering so many products on the site are currently in the sales!

The only exception to the returns policy is that Boden doesn't accept returns on earrings where the internal packaging seal is opened, swimwear where the hygiene strip has been removed, face masks with open packaging, and Cowshed products that are used or have a broken seal.

Is Boden true to size?

Our fashion editor, Rivkie Baum, tells us: "As someone who shops a lot of Boden, I've found that its pieces do generally come up a little smaller than classic high street labels such as Marks & Spencer. As a general rule I wear a size up to what I would usually purchase in Marks & Spencer. But always take into consideration the cut of the garment. With a number of elasticated and partially elasticated waists, I find in those instances, purchasing your usual size is sufficient."

Does Boden offer menswear?

Rivkie explains: "About a year ago Boden revamped and looked to a younger market and a faster turnover of styles in a bit of a shake-up for the much-loved label, but over the summer, the British clothing brand about turned, axing menswear and rebooting its catalogue business, something that has largely always been considered to be at the heart of the brand. There are still some menswear pieces tucked away on-site in the sale section, but shoppers can currently expect no new menswear collections from the brand."
