When do Black Friday perfume deals start?

We found that plenty of retailers started offering Black Friday deals before the actual day began, and they were often very good deals. Boots, John Lewis and Amazon, for example, advertised Black Friday savings a week or two before the sales event started, and many continued until Cyber Monday.

Are Black Friday perfume deals better than Cyber Monday?

This depends what perfume you're looking for. Generally, we found that the best Black Friday perfume deals were on the day itself, where we saw discounts on plenty of our favourite scents, with up to 72% off on Amazon, up to 70% off at Look Fantastic and up to 80% off when you shopped at Debenhams.

However, if you wanted to wait until Cyber Monday to see if the deals were better, you'd be rewarded with a couple of standout discounts, like an over-£30 saving on Le Labo Fleur D'Oranger 27 Eau de Parfum and almost £40 off when you shopped for Juliette has a Gun Moscow Mule Eau de Parfum.

What Black Friday perfume deals can I expect?

We're happy to report that the Black Friday perfume deals are always very impressive. Bearing in mind that Chanel fragrances almost never go on sale, we found both Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum and the iconic Chanel No 5 Eau de Parfum - one of the best Chanel perfumes - discounted by up to 20% on and before Black Friday.

We also saw big savings at Boots, where Lancôme's La Vie Est Belle L'Eau de Parfum had £15 off and two free perfumes thrown in. And at Amazon, fragrances such as Calvin Klein Eternity Moment for Women Eau de Parfum and Vera Wang Princess Eau de Toilette were discounted by 72% and 70%, respectively.

Tips for shopping Black Friday perfume deals in 2024

• Look for sets: Much like Christmas makeup gift sets, fragrance bundles offer excellent value for money. Most include multiple products across sizes, from TSA-friendly to roll-on iterations. 
• Know the big site-wide sales: Last year, many beauty retailers unveiled great savings through site-wide, days-long events including the Sephora Holiday Savings Event and Ulta Beauty's Sale. 
• Consider shipping delays: Supply chain disruptions may delay some shipping right into the new year. Therefore, we recommend starting your holiday shopping now, which won't be too difficult considering the range of deals we've seen across brands and retailers.
