Lisa Barrett
Lisa is a freelance journalist, copywriter and content creator for beauty and wellbeing brands. During a 30-year career, Lisa has written for some of the UK’s top lifestyle publications including Cosmopolitan, The Sunday Times Style and The Financial Times How to Spend it.
As a magazine-obsessed tween, Lisa could be found in the kitchen cupboard mixing her own DIY face masks, adding lemon juice to her hair to 'highlight' it (not recommended), and writing beauty tips for her friends at school.
When it comes to beauty, she's all about keeping it real and finding fast, fab beauty and health fixes that help fellow 50+ women feel confident in the skin that they're in. She is an expert in treating hyperpigmentation after years of sun-worshipping as a child of the 70s, as well as the challenges of menopausal skin (those hormones have a lot to answer for!) Her signature look is all about a glowing, slightly-bronzed complexion and she's never without a liquid highlighting bronzer.
