Freya Berry

Freya Berry is a former journalist and current novelist, who splits her time between London and Wales. Freya previously worked as a journalist at Reuters, covering everything from corporate M&A to Brexit. After being inspired by reporting on the 2016 US election and Melania Trump's interactions with the former President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, Freya left journalism to pursue a career in novel writing. Her debut novel, The Dictator's Wife, was released in early 2022.

Freya received a double-starred first in English from Trinity College, Cambridge, and her feature writing has appeared in the London Evening Standard, the Guardian, and The Independent, among others. She also works as an investigative corporate researcher. Aside from writing, Freya's favorite pastime is swimming in the sea, which she gets to do a lot of, living by the beautiful Welsh coast.
