Esme Clemo

Group Homes Director and in-house craft expert, Esme Clemo has over 10 years’ experience working in the magazine industry as a homes journalist. She started her career as an editorial assistant for her local magazine Wealden Times, where she fell in love with interior decor whilst assisting on home shoots. Since then, she’s written for Woman & Home, Woman’s Weekly, Woman, Woman’s Own, and Wedding Ideas magazine. 

Having completed an interior design course with the University of Arts London, she’s now embarking on her second home renovation on the North East coast where she’s DIYing her way through various projects. When she’s not up a ladder having a go at plastering or on her knees tiling a fireplace, she’ll be at her sewing machine stitching up a new set of cushions for her sofa. Her passion for interiors means she’s always up to date on what’s new in home decor and has a hands-on approach to trialling the latest trends and gadgets in her own home before recommending them to readers.
