This delicious breakfast recipe from Joe Wicks will keep you feeing full all morning long. Known as The Body Coach he's famous for his Lean In 15 concept that sees quick and healthy recipes created from nutritious ingredients to help burn fat and build muscle before and after exercise. In this recipe Joe Wicks uses protein powder to help you keep going through until lunch. Good fats come from the hazelnuts and green yogurt while the flaxseeds help to give a boost of essential fatty acids for clearer skin and shinier hair.

HOW TO MAKE PEAR AND CRANBERRY OVERNIGHT OATS

Method

  1. Chuck the cranberries, pear, almond milk, Greek yoghurt, honey and protein powder into a small blender and blitz until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture over the oats and leave to soak in an airtight container in the fridge for a minimum of 6 hours, but preferably overnight.
  3. Just before eating, scatter with the flaxseeds, toasted hazelnuts and a few extra cranberries, if using, to serve.

  • 75g frozen cranberries, plus a few extra to serve – optional
  • 1 pear, cored and chopped into rough pieces – skin and all
  • 175ml almond milk
  • 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
  • 100g rolled oats
  • flaxseeds, to serve
  • chopped toasted hazelnuts, to serve
