Dolly Parton’s perfume is coming soon
And it’s not called Jolene
Dolly Parton’s perfume has set tongues wagging since the teaser back in December. Now two US icons are set to join forces at the weekend, the Super Bowl and country music’s queen, as Dolly is using the occasion to reveal more about her new fragrance.
The name has already been decided, Dolly: Scent From Above (how perfect is that?). As has the design, a pretty pink bottle topped with a crystal butterfly and carrying Parton’s signature. But the juice itself? That is still a closely guarded secret.
This is what we do know about this weekend’s activity. Parton will be appearing in a commercial for Squarespace during the big game, which is appropriate considering this is the platform on which her new scent’s website will be launching.

In the commercial, she’ll be changing up her famous song 9 to 5 to “5 to 9” in recognition of the hours people work their side hustles — which, you could argue, is precisely what Parton's foray into fragrance is.
While the perfume itself will be launching in July, if you visit dollyfragrance.com right after the commercial airs, you can snag a sample for just $10 (which is redeemable against a full-size bottle when it officially launches).
We'll update this post when we know more.
