The classic bob hairstyle everyone will be opting for after quarantine
You know you're going to see this crop everywhere.

Post quarantine expect the return of the haircut - specifically, the classic bob hairstyle. "It's both playful and edgy and looks just as show-stopping with a fringe and without," says Luke Hersheson, hair stylist to Victoria Beckham. In other words, once when salons re-open expect to see this cut everywhere.
For many of us it's a case of throwing caution to the wind and switching up our hairstyle. And the bob it seems tops the charts as the most Googled style in the world with around 222,000 monthly searches.
Style-wise the classic bob falls into two camps: a clean, blunt, squared-off shape that skims the jawline. Or the more insouciant bob, which is less defined, can be worn short to reveal the nape of the neck or longer, skimming the shoulder blades.

Another draw is that the classic bob has versatility in spades. "A bob doesn't necessarily have to be worn neat," says Hersheson. "It can look dishevelled and cool as I have demonstrated with cuts for Victoria Beckham and Sienna Miller."
Be warned, though - bobs do require a certain degree of maintenance. "A bob is a very specific length so be prepared to get very regular trims," says Hersheson.
But that's not stopping this cut from trending right now. Kaia Gerber's short, feathered bob is favorite. It marries the heavy blunt corners and precision of a traditional bob with a bit of softness, courtesy of slightly snipped in ends.
