W&H shopping edit: What to buy in March 2023

1. 1L Faith In Nature Haircare

Size isn't everything... except it sort of is everything when it comes to sustainable beauty. Consuming less beats recycling more, plastic-wise. And buying jumbo-sized versions of your beauty staples is an easy way to give Mother Earth the nod and say, hey, I see you girl. 

Faith in Nature is well ahead of the game with their vast offering of recyclable, refillable, and – with these new 1L shampoos and conditioners – supersize buys that'll still fit in your shower. Our favorite is zingy Grapefruit & Orange, but everything smells great and is excellent value too. 

2. Oskia London Violet Water Clearing Cleanser

Spring cleaning time! With cleansers, there's a sweet spot between the ones that are a step up from a bar of soap and ones that are packed with so many expensive, high-tech ingredients it feels ridiculous to wash them down the plughole. 

This happily resides in said best cleanser netherzone. It contains cleverly-judged amounts of pore-clarifying stuff like salicylic acid, rebalancing prebiotics and soothing prickly pear. It's effective but not harsh and has a generous lather that makes the minute it's on your skin feel like a treat. 

3. Jo Malone London Star Magnolia Hair Mist

You might think luxury hair perfume sounds pretty extra and to be honest, it's hard to disagree. Or at least it would be if the idea was buying a dedicated scent for your 'do plus another one of the best Jo Malone fragrances to spriz over the rest of you.

But what if we said this is more of an either-or sitation? Suddenly, with it's democratic price point, subtle floral fragrance and handbag-friendly size, this limited-edition starts to feel low-key, chic and, dare we say it – sensible? Trust us, there's a way to justify every purchase if you look hard enough.
