Zara and Mike Tindal spent New Year’s Eve with an unlikely celebrity pal
Zara and Mike Tindal opted to ring in 2020 down under, and were pictured with movie actor Rebel Wilson.
- Zara and Mike were spotted in the Pitch Perfect star’s Instagram account, after she posted pictures from a New Year’s Eve party.
- The pair are in Australia for the equestrian carnival Magic Millions.
- This follows royal news that the hardest working royal in 2019 has been revealed.
Zara and Mike lead a relatively normal life at Gatcombe Park, in Gloucestershire, but they swapped the countryside for a very glamorous start to the decade in Sydney.
In pictures shared by Rebel Wilson on her official Instagram account, the two are seen ringing in the new year with an amazing view to the iconic New Year's Eve fireworks display.
Alongside the pictures, Rebel wrote, ‘We crushed Sydney New Year’s Eve! We’re in the future now in 2020! What a fun gang to celebrate with and thanks to our gorgeous hostess Heloise for throwing an amazing bash with clearly the BEST views 🥰’.
According to Australian publication Honey, the pictures seem to have taken inside one of the multi-million dollar apartments at Circular Quay, which has incredible views of the Sydney Harbour bridge.
Zara and Mike are in Australia for horse-riding competition Magic Millions, and have been regular visitors since Zara was the inaugural Magic Millions Racing Women Ambassador in 2012.
Joining the royals and Rebel was also Prince Harry's close friend, Argentinian polo player Ignacoio 'Nacho' Figueras, who’s also there for the Magic Millions polo tournament.

Speaking to Australian Women’s Weekly, Mike said of their trip, “We've now also made lots of new friends in the Magic Millions family. So I get to renew my golf rivalry with Gerry [Harvey] every year – always good fun.
"Early January is bleak over here so it's nice to go and have a bit of sun. I love the lifestyle of Australia and the ability to get up early, go on the beach – especially for the kids, taking them in the ocean is brilliant.
"I just think the people over in Australia are so laidback and they have good banter. No one's worried about talking to each other. It's not a rushed lifestyle. I think it's a great place and we enjoy it so much."
