Kate Middleton's Wimbledon sunglasses delighted fans as the royal opted for a pair of cat-eye shaped eyewear in a tortoise shell print. Here is how you can get your hand on the real pair and some other less pricey dupes.

When the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended Wimbledon, fans focused on Kate Middleton's dress as Kate showed off her favorite trend this summer and opted for another polka dot dress.

However, many other fans were eager to learn where the Duchess purchased her sunglasses, as her trendy cat-eye shaped shades appeared to be the perfect summer item to help keep the sun out of Her Royal Highness' eyes.

The sunglasses are from the brand Finlay and this isn't the first time the Duchess has been seen wearing this go-to pair. While in the Bahamas on a Caribbean tour with Prince William, Catherine was seen in this same pair which seem to have become a wardrobe staple for the Duchess this summer.

These Finlay sunglasses feature a cat-eye silhouette with squared, upswept corners. Handmade from luxury Mazzucchelli acetate and fitted with Zeiss lenses for full UVA/UVB protection.

If you want to copy this look from the Duchess but you fancy something a little cheaper or perhaps in a bit of a different style, there are plenty of dupes on the market. This means you don't have to fork out a lot for the best designer sunglasses of the season.

Both cat-eye shaped eye wear, and tortoise shell colored accessories, are both very popular sunglasses trends at the moment so many similar pairs to these shades are available at different price points.

While attending Wimbledon, Prince William appeared to break royal protocol as he made an exclamatory remark that divided fans.

At the same event, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also appeared quite playful as they laughed and chatted with one another in the stands. One expert even claimed that Kate Middleton and Prince William's Wimbledon appearance proves they are 'connected on a deeper level' as the couple don't need PDA to show their love.
