The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge release new festive family photo

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have delighted royal fans by sharing a new picture from the family's official Christmas card.

• The couple can be seen posing alongside their three children
• It follows royal news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have launched a new podcast 

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have offered a rare glimpse into life at Amner Hall after releasing a gorgeous family photograph that appears on their official Christmas card this year. 

She may be a household style icon but Duchess Catherine is dressed down in the snap, which is shot in front of a wood shed on a hay bale.

And the couple can be seen posing alongside their three children - Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and two-year-old Prince Louis.

While royal fans were delighted to see the family altogether, it was Prince Louis who stole their hearts with his huge laughing smile to the camera. 

"Little Louis is such a cute rascal," wrote one fan. While another said, "Looks like Louis has Christmas spirit for everyone."

Others noted how alike Charlotte looks to her grandmother, the Queen: "Charlotte looks so like Queen Elizabeth!"

It's the second time the Cambridge's have appeared as a family of five this month after they attended The National Lottery's Pantoland at The Palladium before London went into Tier 3 and theatres were forced to close. 

And they're not the only members of the royal family to reveal this year's official Christmas card photograph.

Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla quickly followed suit and shared theirs with the world.

In it, the pair can be seen smiling as they sit on a bench surrounded by gorgeous flowers.

The photograph was taken in the garden at Birkhall, Scotland.
