- The Countess of Wessex hosted a dinner for the Ambulance service at Windsor Castle.

Typically when it comes to formal attire, royals tend to shy away from sequins and sparkles and go for more demure attire. The only royal who is known to break this typical protocol is Kate Middleton who wowed at the James Bond No Time to Die premiere in 2021 with a stunning gold sequined dress.
Even in the early days of being a member of the Royal Family, Kate Middleton's dresses were often sequined, and the Duchess used sparkling gowns to show her youthful style and sense of fashion.
In 2013, just a couple of years after Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding day, Catherine was photographed at the Tusk Conservation Awards wearing a full-length silver sequined gown that was a very similar style to the look worn by the Countess of Wessex.
