Royal fans heartbroken after missing key Prince Louis milestone
Royal fans missed a first from Prince Louis

Royal fans have been forced to miss a key moment from the youngest Cambridge child, Prince Louis.
- Prince Louis marked a Christmas first, but fans missed it due to the pandemic.
- The young prince has not had much opportunity to take part in royal events amid the ongoing COVID-19 battle.
- This follows royal news that Kate Middleton and Prince William may have a joint birthday party this summer.
The Cambridges spent the Christmas period at their Norfolk estate, Anmer Hall, after the Queen canceled her plans for a family celebration at Sandringham.
However, the Cambridges still managed to celebrate the big day at the Kings Lynn estate with Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
And Prince Louis attended the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church for the very first time.
It is tradition that Queen Elizabeth and other members of the Royal Family attend the morning service on December 25 at St Mary Magdalene, which is on the grounds of Sandringham.
It is usually protocol for the royals to stop and talk to members of the public on the walk, but crowds were unable to gather, meaning royal fans missed the chance to see Louis' debut.

In 2021, the Queen opted not to attend the service in Sandringham, staying in Windsor Castle for the second consecutive Christmas.
This comes after it was revealed that Kate and Prince William may have a joint birthday party this summer, to make up for the 'scaled-down' celebrations planned for her 40th birthday this weekend.
Kate, who turns the milestone age on 9 January, is expected to have a small gathering with friends and family at home in Kensington Palace on Sunday in light of rising Covid cases across the UK. It's hoped that she will be able to properly mark the special occasion a little later in the year, when it's safer to do so.
“I think it will be lowkey this weekend," royal expert Ingrid Seward told the Royal Beat, before predicting that the festivities will be rescheduled for the summer. "Probably after the Platinum Jubilee celebrations are over—she and William, whose birthday is on June 21st, will have a joint party and really celebrate then.”
