Royal fans have criticized the Queen's decor at Buckingham Palace as she continues to perform royal duties digitally as she recovers from a sprained back.

The Queen recently met with two newly appointed Ambassadors at Buckingham Palace. Photos of the event were posted on Her Majesty's social media with a caption that read, "At Buckingham Palace today, two recently appointed Ambassadors had Audiences via video link with The Queen."

Although this was a lovely occasion for the two ambassadors some royal fans were bemused by some of the furniture pictured in the room.

Royal fans pointed out that Buckingham Palace elected to use a tiny table for the ambassadors so that they were forced to stoop over when they placed their hand on the papers.

"What an uncomfortable stance they have at that little table … 🤦‍♀️" said one royal fan.

"Get a higher table maybe 😍" suggested another who was equally confused by the setup of this room.

This isn't the first time that the royal household's decor has confused fans as just a few weeks ago, a strange detail on the Queen's Christmas tree left royal fans scratching their heads.

Although some fans were critical, others congratulated the Queen for her dedication to her royal duties and still making the effort to attend these engagements virtually.

"What an amazing time we live in that Her Majesty can carry out so many of these things virtually. The changes she has seen during her reign are unbelievable," said one royal fan.

"I love the photo 📺👏👏stay safe and healthy your Majesty 🙏🏼," said another.

Although the event took place at Buckingham Palace, Her Majesty was at home in Windsor Castle. It is thought that the Queen will soon be hosting a Christmas party at her Windsor home before setting off to Norfolk where she will celebrate the festive season at Sandringham House.
