Royal fans were shocked when Princess Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi last July, in a small secret ceremony—because of Covid-19 restrictions. The Queen and also her parents—Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, were at the small wedding.
The couple were due to get married in May last year, in what was due to be a much bigger affair, but had to postpone, like other brides around the world, when the pandemic forced us all to stay at home.
Now the couple are celebrating their first year of nuptials, with Edoardo sharing an adorable picture of the pair and a sweet message. He said, "I can’t believe it has been 1 year. Every second of every day since has been so full of joy, happiness, laughter and love. You are the kindest, loveliest and most beautiful person in the world. Thank you my darling for every second."

The Instagram post from Beatrice's husband has already had thousands of likes and royal fans celebrating their day, by sharing love hearts in the comments sections.
After the initial shock of the couples secret wedding day - all eyes turned to Beatrice's gorgeous wedding gown dress, which was originally owned by the Queen. The ivory peau de soie taffeta dress, which featured hand embroiled details along the bodice and skirt, also had an ivory satin trim.
The dress, which went on display at Windsor Castle last September, was first worn by the Queen in the 1960's, and designed by royal favourite Norman Hartnell.

Since their wedding day Beatrice has also announced she's pregnant with their first child. In May the couple said via a statement on social media: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year."
The announcement also revealed that the royal family was very happy with this news. The caption read, "The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."
