Prince William is the first member of the royal family to personally respond to the allegation of racism made by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, following the Queen's careful and constructive response to grandson Harry and Meghan’s interview.
Meghan claimed a senior royal raised concerns about “how dark” her unborn son Archie would be – an allegation which shocked both the interviewer Oprah Winfrey and viewers around the world.
Oprah later revealed that the senior royal who made the comment wasn't either the Queen or Prince Philip, who currently remains in hospital following heart surgery.

Meghan also denied claims she made Kate Middleton cry, telling Oprah it was the other way round, that she had been left in tears by Kate over the flower girl dresses in the lead up to the royal wedding.
And the Duchess of Sussex also broke down in tears when she told her husband she “didn't want to be alive any more."
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were promoting a children’s mental health initiative today.
If you missed Prince Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah, here’s how you can watch it from anywhere in the world.
