Prince William and Duchess Catherine have shared a lovely post in honour of yesterday’s Father’s Day.

The couple shared special photos via the Kensington Palace Instagram page to wish their fathers, and other fathers across the world, on the special day.

First the pair posted an absolutely adorable photo of Prince William cuddling up to his father Prince Charles while enjoying the outdoors.

The father and son were beaming at the camera while keeping warm in smart outdoor gear.

And the second photo shows a throwback photo of Duchess Catherine when she was a young child, sitting with her father Michael Middleton.

Fans couldn’t get over how adorable the two photos were, with the post raking up thousands of comments and over a million likes.

Some fans took to pointing out how much the Duchess looks like her sons, writing, ‘Prince George and Prince Louis totally look like the Duchess when she was younger!’ and ‘Is that Louis or his Mama?😂😍❤️’.

While others complemented the mum-of-three’s photography skills, as she is credited for taking the snap of her husband Prince William and father-in-law Prince Charles.

‘I love seeing pictures that the Duchess of Cambridge takes. Its lovely to see through the eyes of the ones closest x,’ wrote one fan, while another commented, ‘Kate is a genius behind the camera’.

And Father’s Day was a big day for the Cambridge as, not only were they celebrating all of their fathers, including Prince William himself, but they were also celebrating the Duke’s birthday.

‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new picture of The Duke with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis ahead of The Duke’s birthday tomorrow,’ Kensington Palace wrote alongside an adorable photo of the Duke with his three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
