Prince Louis set to share very special day with Prince George
Prince Louis' special day is also full of meaning for his older brother Prince George and the wider Royal Family...

Prince Louis is set to share a special day with his older brother Prince George and if tradition is anything to go by fans could be in for an exciting reveal.
- Prince Louis will turn four years old on April 23rd, two days after his great-grandmother the Queen’s 96th birthday.
- Though this is a significant day for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest son, he’s not the only one who’s got reason to celebrate then.
- This royal news comes as we revealed the Queen's subtle sign that she doesn't need protecting.
It might seem like only yesterday that Prince William and Kate Middleton were standing proudly on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital introducing their newborn son, Prince Louis, to the world. But on April 23rd the Queen’s great-grandchild will turn four years old, just days after Her Majesty celebrated her milestone 96th birthday.
Although Prince Louis is fifth in the royal line of succession, as the youngest of his siblings, he’s not been spotted at quite so many huge occasions with the extended Royal Family in recent weeks.
Unlike his siblings, who attended the Easter Sunday service and Prince Philip’s memorial, Prince Louis was perhaps considered a bit too young. This might soon change as his fourth birthday arrives and it’s also a special day for Prince George…
Whilst Prince Louis’ birthday is a huge day for him, it’s also a cause for double celebration in the Cambridge household. Not only is April 23rd the day Prince William and Kate Middleton became parents-of-three, but it’s also St George’s Day.
St George’s Day honors St George, the Patron Saint of England and eight-year-old Prince George shares his traditional name. Patron Saint days are often marked by the Royal Family and over the years they've shared sweet tributes online for each of the Home Nations’ Patron Saints.

Whilst just last month the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid an in-person visit to Wales on St David’s Day. This significant trip saw Kate Middleton make a nostalgic nod to the early days of their romance with one of her outfit choices and she favored green tones that mirrored the green of the Welsh flag.

It’s possible that for St George’s Day 2022, the couple could decide upon a special social media post. Though of course, as it’s also Prince Louis’ birthday there’s another exciting tradition that fans across the world are likely hoping is continued by his parents.
Three tomorrow! 🚲Taken earlier this week by The Duchess before he left for his first day of nursery, The Duke and Duchess are pleased to share a new image of Prince Louis. 🎈 pic.twitter.com/AGgfLI39tWApril 22, 2021
In previous years, photography-enthusiast Kate Middleton has taken adorable new portraits of her three children to mark their big days. Last year saw Prince Louis’ birthday celebrated with a snap showing him proudly riding a bright red bike before he left for his first day of nursery school.
It’s not known for certain whether the Cambridges will share a new picture for Prince Louis’ special day this year. But if tradition is anything to go on, fans could be in for an equally joyful photo!
