Prince Harry’s close friend Nacho Figueras reveals what he told him about move to Canada

Nacho has revealed that Harry has 'suffered'

Earlier this month, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan revealed they’d be stepping back as senior members of the Royal Family.

Appearing on ABC TV special Royal Divide: Harry, Meghan and The Crown, Nacho Figueras said, "I spoke to Harry a few days ago. He has suffered a lot from all of the things that have happened to him. He wants to live a normal life, as normal as his life is going to be right?”

He continued, “Because when you have a thousand paparazzi outside your house in Canada waiting to get a picture of your son that's not very normal."

Nacho went on to say that he was ‘protecting’ those closest to him, suggesting that Princess Diana’s situation might’ve had something to do with this decision.

He added, "He's protecting his family, he's protecting his wife and his child - he was a son of someone that has suffered the attack from the press firsthand, and it's undeniable, and he doesn't want for that to happen to his family."

Prince Harry and Nacho Figueras have been friends for a number of years, and have a shared interest in sport, as Nacho is a professional polo player. It is believed that he was one of the first people to meet baby Archie too.

A statement from the Queen earlier this month revealed that they have 'found a constructive and supportive way forward' for Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan and baby Archie.

She went on to say that, 'Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved members of my family.'

Duchess Meghan has already been spotted twice in Canada, with her most recent public appearance seeing her visiting Vancouver.
