Prince Charles “really shines” in his latest engagement just days after returning from a royal tour and fans praised his “excellent work” amid the Queen’s health woes.

Prince Charles might just have returned from his visit to Jordan and Egypt, but he’s already stepped out again as he traveled to Cambridge for a series of engagements on November 23rd. Starting the day in Cambridge Market, the Prince of Wales, who is first in the royal line of succession, went on to meet student ambassadors of the Changemakers Programme at Homerton College. The college has a brilliant reputation for supporting diversity through their Changemakers and ‘Get in Cambridge’ initiatives and here he heard all about the college’s wellbeing approach.

But the Prince of Wales’ busy day in Cambridge didn’t stop there, as he ended the visit by opening AstraZeneca’s new Research and Development Center in the historic city. Throughout the day, the future king was pictured beaming at each engagement, with the sweet snaps shared on the Clarence House Instagram and Twitter accounts.

And his visit has been met with huge praise from delighted fans on social media, who noticed not only his warmth with people but his busy schedule.

“He must be exhausted but there he is… smiling and happy with the people”, one person declared, seemingly in awe of the Prince’s commitment to his royal duties.

Someone else agreed, writing, “Just back from a tour and already working, well done Sir 👏🏾”.

“HRH really shines when he is w/ the people! 🌟”, a third person observed delightedly.

Several more fans were quick to point out just how many engagements Prince Charles has been attending recently.

As the eldest of the Queen’s children and the future king, the Prince of Wales has been observed taking an even more prominent role in recent weeks. This comes following an announcement from Buckingham Palace last month that the Queen spent a night in hospital and received advice to “rest” at Windsor Castle.

Since then the Queen sprained her back and, much to her own disappointment, was forced to pull out of her appearance at the Remembrance Sunday service. He laid a wreath at the Cenotaph on Her Majesty’s behalf, before he jetted off on his overseas tour to the Middle East with Duchess Camilla after an important call with the monarch.

Whilst earlier this month, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla also joined Prince William and Kate Middleton at the COP26 climate change summit in Glasgow. The Prince of Wales’ attendance at many of these occasions had been expected even before the Queen was advised to rest.

However, it’s certainly inspirational to see Prince Charles’ incredible commitment to his many royal duties at what is likely a challenging time. And his hard working ethic and enjoyment at meeting people at engagements seems to have been very much appreciated by royal fans.
