A property next door to Prince Charles and Camilla is currently on sale.
- Prince Charles and Camilla spend most of their time at their properties, Clarence House and Highgrove House.
- You could be their neighbors as a property right next to one of their royal residences has come onto the market.
- In other royal news, The Queen hated Princess Beatrice’s original name so much that her parents changed it.
For just £7.5 million (which roughly translates to $10 million) you could be the neighbor of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall!
A property named Elmestree House Estate in Doughton Tetbury, is just a stone's throw from the Duke and Duchess' Gloucestershire home, Highgrove House.
Elmestree House Estate is currently on the market with Strutt & Parker. The company describes the property as, "an Elizabethan style, Grade II listed house set in 117 acres with annex, farmhouse, and lodge."
The property boasts 11 bedrooms in total, with six bedrooms in the main property and five further attic bedrooms.
The enormous property has a grand entrance and a ballroom which is fit for some high class events along with five other reception rooms.
The annexe attached to the property holds three bedrooms, the farmhouse also attached has four bedrooms and there is also a two bedroom lodge cottage which is also included in the grounds.

In the sprawling gardens there is a coach house, courtyard, a variety of different farm buildings, a walled garden, ponds and a stunning, tree lined drive that leads from the road to the main house.
From some of the images, it is clear that this property is somewhat dated and would need a fair bit of work to haul into the 21st century. However, it is these period features that are likely to attract so many buyers.
This is the first time in 70 years that the property has been on the market, so the chance to become neighbors with royals is unlikely to spring up anytime soon.
Previously, Prince Charles has rarely given glimpses of Highgrove House's interior as the property is a private retreat for the royal couple. In comparison, much of Clarence House's regal decor is available to view on Google Arts and Culture.
It is rumored that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge could be potential buyers for this property. The Daily Mail reported that the couple, "are reported to be ‘seriously considering’ relocating to be nearer the Queen. The couple might welcome a rural base within commuting distance of Windsor in which to raise their three children."
Prince Charles, Princess Diana, Prince Harry and Prince William at Highgrove House
At present, the couple split their time in their London home at Kensington Palace, and their country estate, Amner House in Norfolk. It is unknown if the family intends to purchase a Cotswold home that is close to Highgrove House where Prince William spent much of his childhood.
