Meghan Markle's good friend claims the Duchess is 'stronger than she knows'

Meghan Markle's good friend Delfina Blaquier has said that the Duchess is 'stronger than she knows' in a new interview.

Meghan Markle, whose latest venture, her podcast Archetypes, has had instant success, has been criticised at every point of her career, whether it was when she was part of the royal family or since she and Prince Harry left to forge their own careers.

However, it seems the Duchess has picked up a good friend in Delfina Blaquier, since she made the move back to the US, with the wife of Harry's polo friend championing her personality and career in a recent interview. 

Talking to Hello Magazine at the recent Sentebale polo match Delfina said about Meghan, "She is so wonderful and strong. Stronger than she knows. I love being around my friends, and I will always support her."

The Argentine socialite and businesswoman has known Prince Harry since her husband, Nacho Figueras, started playing polo with him, as part of the Sentebale team in 2006. Delfina joined her husband and Prince Harry earlier this week to cheer the Sentebale team on as they played against Royal Salute in Aspen, Colorado.

Delfina's kind words about the Duchess comes just a couple of months after she gushed about Meghan, who this week revealed how dating Prince Harry changed her perspective on the word ambition, in June, taking to social media to post a picture of the pair, along with, "M - looking forward to many more of these times with you and H. Getting to spend time together over these 2 months was so special. I wish everyone knew you the way you are."

While the socialite also went on to reveal how Meghan came up with a nickname for the pair - 'pwifes' or polo wifes, adding on the Instagram post, "My sister ❤️, my now fellow “pwife” (polo wife) -genius of you to come up with this 😂 - Can’t wait to see you again soon, to share thrill, hikes, and just more chill time. You also have my respect. 

"Keep walking, steady and strong. Listen to your heart, that will guide you well, bc you have a big one and it’s a beautiful one. I love you my darling ❤️ Can’t be possible, that this is the only #pwife picture we have together 🙄 Vamos #LosPadresPoloTeam !!!"

However, it's not just Delfina that's close to Meghan, royal fans were excited to see Prince Harry’s ‘brotherly love’ with longtime friend Nacho. While he wasn't shy about talking about his friend either, Nacho told the press attending "I have known him, Prince Harry, for so long and he has always wanted someone to love and marry and have a family with." 

He added, "makes me so happy to see them [Harry and Meghan] happy and with two beautiful children."
