Meghan Markle gave fans flashbacks to her royal wedding on Tuesday afternoon, after stepping out in Germany in an outfit that looked strikingly similar to the stunning look she wore at the 2018 ceremony's glitzy reception.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now 48 hours into their whirlwind European trip, having arrived in Düsseldorf on this morning to attend the One Year To Go event in honor of the 6th Invictus Games 2023.
The A-list couple didn't waste time getting down to business, heading straight to the German city's town hall to meet with officials and potential participants of the upcoming sporting event. Their highly-anticipated appearance coincided with the release of the third Archetypes episode, in which Meghan confessed she wanted a 'Swan Lake' wedding with a 'poofy' dress when she was a teenager.
Never one to disappoint in the style department, the duchess exuded European chic with her stunning outfit for the couple's first (and only) day in Germany. Meghan teamed an ivory halter-neck top by Annie Bing with a pair of cream, wide-brimmed trousers from Brandon Maxwell, adding a matching belt for an extra touch of formality. She completed the late summer look, which was perfect for the city's warm weather conditions, with white high heels, a gold wristwatch, and diamond stud earrings.
Meghan Markle's hair also underwent a refreshing change, with the 40-year-old opting for a low bun over the loose locks or high ponytail she typically favors at public engagements. Her makeup was kept equally simple, appearing to consist of just a dewy foundation with a touch of eyeliner, mascara, and blusher.
Longtime followers of the duchess will likely have noticed the similarities between her outfit in Germany today and the one she wore to the Sussexes' nuptials three years ago.

Meghan Markle's wedding dress for her ceremony at St. George's Chapel in Windsor was famously succeeded at her reception by a less formal gown designed by Stella McCartney, which quickly became a favorite amongst brides-to-be across the UK.
Meghan's elegant hair in Germany also harkened back to her royal wedding, with the duchess rocking the same chignon bun she wore to tie the knot with Prince Harry. The French updo is reportedly the Suits star's foolproof style when she wants to show that she's 'taking something seriously' – and it appears to be working.
