Kate Middleton's frill collar blouse can be worn with anything this spring
Genius
Kate Middleton's frill collar blouse caught our eye as the perfect transitional wardrobe piece. Along with her Max&Co pink coat, gold hoops, and favorite sneakers, the Duchess is serving up all the inspiration we need for a new season wardrobe.
In a portrait released ahead of her exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, Hold Still, the Duchess of Cambridge is seen with a frill-collared blouse peaking up over a ruby-colored sweater.

The said blouse is from sustainable Parisian brand Sezane, but sadly it's sold out as ardent fans of the Duchess pointed out that this portrait was, in fact, taken on the same day as the family Christmas card. However, it seems the Duchess was (yet again) ahead of the curve style-wise as there are plenty of other pie-crust style blouses available for spring.

Similar style to the Duchess' Sezane blouse, this has additional ruffles and embroidery making it a gorgeous stand-alone piece when not worn under a sweater.

Sezane Caro Shirt
Sleeveless? Check. Broderie anglaise? Check. And with a very prominent ruffled collar? Double-check. Meet the summer version of Kate's pie-crust collar blouse, which we think looks just as chic teamed with a midi skirt as it does with jeans.
Ganni Ruffled Organic Cotton-Poplin Peplum Blouse
This is Scandi chic at its best. The puff sleeve shoulders, ruffled collar, and hem add just enough detail to this crisp white blouse without feeling fussy. It's definitely one to throw on with a pair of jeans and gold hoop earrings.
Hush Zinnia Frilled Shirt
Consider this soft cotton number the dupe of the Duchess' blouse with its soft Victoriana undertones.
