Kate Middleton was the picture of sustainable elegance in Birmingham today, showing up to the Commonwealth Games in her previously-worn Alexander McQueen white suit.

Kate Middleton showed off her eco-conscious style at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham today, arriving at the friendly sports tournament in a very familiar-looking outfit.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore her trusty Alexander McQueen white suit to the Sandwell Aquatics Centre on Tuesday to watch the swimming heats alongside Prince William and their seven-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte.

The £1945 ensemble made its debut in March during William and Kate's costly Caribbean royal tour, when the mom-of-three paired it with a striking orange top for a formal engagement with Jamaica's Prime Minister.

The Duchess whipped out the ivory suit for a second time in June to attend an event for Windrush Day, which was established in 2018 to pay tribute to the thousands of people who emigrated from Caribbean countries to the UK between 1948 and 1971. On this occasion, she coordinated the jacket and trousers with a white t-shirt to create a chic, monochromatic finish. Kate's beloved two-piecer has since been compared to a similar one worn by Princess Diana, as well as Meghan Markle's white power suit at the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

The Duchess embraced a single color theme again in Birmingham today, teaming her luxurious suit with a white blouse and a white belt. She jazzed up the timeless look with a pair of £3,750 earrings by Mappin and Webb and sensible sling-back shoes (which are sadly now sold-out) by Camilla Elphick. The 40-year-old also wore her locks in that classic Kate Middleton glossy hairstyle we've come to know and love, parting her chestnut tresses down the middle and allowing its waves to flow freely over her shoulders.

Princess Charlotte also dressed in neutral tones for the event, wearing a nautical stripy gown and braided hair as she watched the competition unfold in the Olympic-sized pool from the stadium's stalls.

The outing marked the junior royal's first public appearance without her brothers, Prince George, 8, and Prince Louis 4, and has already garnered a wave of excitement online. Princess Charlotte's cheeky faces at the pool have been of particular interest, as fans flock to social media to gush at the middle child's hilarious expressions.
