'Favourite outfit ever!' Royal fans loving Duchess of Cambridge’s edgy new accessory she wore during early birthday celebrations
We love it too!
The Duchess of Cambridge has started celebrating her birthday last weekend, and royal fans are loving the edgy fashion accessory she picked for the occasion.
- Catherine was spotted leaving the Sunday morning’s church service at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham estate.
- She was accompanied by her husband Prince William and many of their closest friends, who came along to celebrate her birthday.
- This follows royal news that Duchess Catherine regretted her Christmas Day outfit for a very relatable reason.
Duchess Catherine will be turning 38-years-old this Thursday (January 9th) and she’s kick-started celebrations in Norfolk, at their countryside home.
Attending the Sunday service, the pair were accompanied by many close friends including Princess Charlotte’s godfathers, James Meade and Thomas Van Straubenzee; two of Prince George’s godparents, Emilia Jardine-Patterson and Oliver Baker; Prince Louis’ godmother, Lady Laura Meade; as well as the Duchess' parents Carole and Michael Middleton.
But as well as their friends joining them for the special occasion, royal fans were loving Catherine’s edgy fedora hat she wore to church.
After a video of their walk from church was shared on social media, fans gushed about the fashionable look, with one saying, ‘This outfit is gorgeous 😍 loving the hat!’
Another said, ‘Love Kate’s whole outfit❤️’.
A third added, ‘😍😍Love Love Love the Fedora’.

A fourth also commented, ‘She is rocking that hat! My favourite outfit ever!’
The fedora hat seems to be from Hicks and Brown, and it’s hand finished with a pheasant feather wrap.
It’s currently out of stock – probably due to the ‘Kate effect’ – but we found a cheaper dupe at Rydale.

She paired the chic accessory with a purple midi coat, knee-high heeled boots, black gloves, and a blue quilted clutch and diamond drop earrings – so chic!
The Duchess’ birthday celebrations are likely to continue this week, as she usually has a low-key party at home with her children on her actual birthday.
