Kate Middleton amps up her floaty LK Bennett dress with pastel blue blazer for the perfect summer look

Kate Middleton's LK Bennett dress was the center of attention during a recent royal engagement when the Duke and Duchess unveiled a portrait and took time to drink beer and play football with Cambridge locals.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's first official joint portrait was revealed on Thursday, June 23, 2022, when the couple visited in Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.

Following this unveiling the royal couple traveled to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, then Jimmy's Cambridge. The couple concluded their Cambridge trip by visiting the Cambridge County Show. 

At the Cambridge County Show at Newmarket Racecourse, the couple was photographed sipping beer from a local stand and even played a little bit of football - even though the Duchess was wearing large wedge sandals. 

The stunning dress worn by the Duchess of Cambridge was a floaty animal print midi dress from high street designer, LK Bennett. This is a favorite shop where many of Kate Middleton's dresses have been purchased. 

The Duchess paired her stunning summer dress with a pale blue blazer and matching heels. As the weather warmed up during the day, the Duchess ditched the coat and heels and opted for comfier strappy wedges.

Although the LK Bennett dress worn by the Duchess is from the brand's 2015 collection and is no longer in stock, a pale pink version of this dress has been released and there are a number of other dupes on the market.

In previous years, the Duchess of Cambridge has also been spotted in a darker pink version of this Elowen dress by LK Bennett. 

In 2019, Catherine was pictured in the Elowen dress when the Duke Of Cambridge And The Duke Of Sussex, Prince Harry, took part in the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day. 

It seems that this LK Bennett dress is a tried and tested favorite of the Duchess of Cambridge and is most definitely one of the best dresses for fuss-free summer style.
