What outfit does one opt for when meeting the Queen of England? A quandary the First Lady of the United States, Dr Jill Biden, was faced with this morning.
Selecting just the right ensemble can't have been an easy task—after all, Jill's sartorial choices have been under the microscope since she touched down in Cornwall for this year's G7 Summit. It's no surprise that during the first overseas trip as President of the United States, Joe Biden, and First Lady Dr Jill Biden are hitting headlines across the world.

For today's meeting at Windsor Castle with the Queen, Jill looked radiant in a powder blue two-piece and understated nude Valentino heels. She finished the outfit with an elegant brooch.
But while there's no doubt that Jill's classic outfit hit the mark for a meeting with Her Majesty, it's the Queen's vibrant summer dress that really got fans talking.
Continuing the pastel theme, the Queen chose a pink dress with a botanical print, complete with a matching pink hat and chic white gloves—and royal fans were clearly impressed.
"The Queen LOOKS ABSOLUTELY RADIANT! LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!" wrote one royal fan.

While another commented, "Absolutely love our Queen, that dress is gorgeous."
It's reassuring to see the Queen partaking in royal engagements with such enthusiasm after what must have been an extremely difficult time. After losing her husband, Prince Philip, earlier this year, the Queen undertook a period of mourning where she only wore black for eight days.
While this mourning period undoubtedly continues for Her Majesty, royal fans were pleased to see her in such high spirits—with a nod to the summer season in such a cheerful dress.
"Our Queen is looking amazing, especially with what she's been through recently!! Long live the Queen!" wrote one enthusiastic follower.
"Her Majesty has a dazzling smile! She's obviously in great company!" wrote another follower on Instagram.
While another said, "Queen looks fab!! So sad that for Philips’s funeral she had to sit on her own with a mask on."
Jill Biden and POTUS Joe Biden enjoyed afternoon tea in Windsor Castle today, taking some time out of their hectic schedule in order to spend some time with Her Majesty.
This is the second time the couple has met the Queen during their visit to Cornwall. They were first introduced at a drinks reception for the Queen and G7 leaders at The Eden Project on Friday, where Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his new wife, Carrie Johnson, were also in attendance.
Carrie wore a silk midi dress designed by The Vampire's Wife, which she reportedly rented from British clothing rental company HURR.
