There are many of us who wouldn't mind being neighbors with the Queen, and now the opportunity has presented itself as a home in Sandringham Estate is currently up for sale!

Norfolk estate agents, Sowerby's is offering buyers the opportunity to be neighbors with the Queen. A Grade II listed historic building in the Queen's 20,000 acre Sandringham Estate is currently up for sale, which is just a stone's throw from Her Majesty's home, Sandringham House.

The property, known as 'Station House' is priced just shy of £1.2 million at £1,195,000. ($1,577,740.58 in USD) and boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms, three reception rooms, all with stunning countryside views.

The property was the Queen's Station Master's house when it was built in 1898, but has been used only as a family home since the station closed in 1969.

The agents state that the property is 'set in the heart of the royal Sandringham Estate,' and is settled in the village of Wolferton, which is just 7 miles north of King's Lynn.

Wolferton is best known for the Wolferton Railway Station which was used for generations by the royal family when they would visit the Sandringham Estate.

Sowerby's describes this property as, "a stunning family home and a truly unique property" as they explain that, "'Rarely available' is a phrase used frequently by estate agents but in the case of Station House this can not be emphasized enough: this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to occupy an individual and historic home in a prestigious location."

The Sandringham Estate has been the private home to four generations of sovereigns. The property was purchased for King Edward VII, then Prince of Wales, in 1862 as a country home for himself and his betrothed, Princess Alexandra of Denmark.

Although the Queen has many gorgeous homes including Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and Balmoral Castle, Her Majesty typically prefers to spend the festive period at her stunning Norfolk home, Sandringham House.
