It looks like Prince Harry is finally settling into his new home in California. In fact, since moving to Montecito, Santa Barbara last year, Prince Harry seems to have struck a friendship with another fellow Brit: actor Orlando Bloom.

Now that Prince Harry is officially done with royal duties, he's been updating his resume with new job titles and appearances. Most recently, he appeared on Dax Shepherd's Armchair Expert podcast, where he made some stunning reveals, including a blooming friendship with his neighbor Orlando.

How did Prince Harry and Orlando's friendship start?

Public figures and celebrities seem to constantly be followed by paparazzi who are trying to score an exclusive photo of them. For most celebrities, it can make leaving your home unseen a bit difficult.

According to Prince Harry, though, this was how he and Orlando began to keep in touch with one another. Like a good neighbor, the Carnival Row actor would text him to update the Sussexes on whether there were any paparazzi in their neighborhood.

"Two days ago, Orlando Bloom sent me a message because he is just down the road and we sort of keep in contact because of the paparazzi," he revealed to Dax.

He continued by saying that the actor was texting him to warn the royal of a photographer trying to take a picture of the Duke's family.

From there, the Prince called out the actions of the photographer, saying, "How is that normal? How is that acceptable?"

Besides having to dodge paparazzi, the two friends have more similarities, which may end up bringing them closer the longer they get to know one another.

Not only do the couples share celebrity statuses, but they're both new parents. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share their two-year-old son and are expecting a daughter this summer, and Orlando and Katy just welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom last summer. Do we hear playdates in the future?
