Duchess Catherine halts royal tour to write heartfelt note to transport workers
Duchess Catherine and Prince William have started their festive Royal Train tour by personally thanking transport workers.
Duchess Catherine paused her royal tour with Prince William to hand write a personal message on a TFL board at Euston station in London.

- This follows royal news that Duchess Catherine and Prince William kicked off their royal tour with a very special guest.

Kate wrote: "Thank you to all transport workers everywhere for keeping the country moving throughout this difficult year.
"Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!"
Both Catherine and William then signed off the message with their names.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked off their three-day festive Royal Train Tour on Sunday night.
They surprised commuters at London's Euston station with a performance from 80s pop star, Shakin’ Stevens.
The couple dropped a major hint that Merry Christmas Everyone is their favourite festive bop by inviting the pop star along to raise Christmas spirits as part of their Royal Train Tour - the first tour of its kind since the global pandemic began.
