Duchess Camilla has been praised by fans as an “amazing support” to Prince Charles as her dedication to her royal duties shone through as she championed two iconic public figures.
- Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall officially opened the Chalke Valley History Festival on June 20, and shared a special message in honor of the occasion.
- Fans were quick to praise her “incredible” hard work and passion for reading as she paid tribute to two of the “finest historical novelists”.
- This royal news comes as Princess Beatrice was left terrified as the horse pulling her carriage got spooked and tried to bolt.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall has been observed attending even more public engagements in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year as she and other senior members of the extended Royal Family step up to support Her Majesty and honor her historic milestone. Now she’s traveled to Wiltshire where she opened the largest festival dedicated to history, the Chalke Valley History Festival.
Known for her passion for reading and for encouraging others to immerse themselves in literature, it’s perhaps no surprise that Duchess Camilla delightedly opened the festival this year. She did so ahead of a discussion between best-selling historical novelists, Philippa Gregory and Alison Weir about 'Rediscovering Women in History’.
And just as she was full of praise for their impact upon her and others, fans were overjoyed to see the “incredible” Duchess at work.
