Will Britney Spears ever perform again? Her latest Instagram Q&A gives fans some insight
'I'm in a transition in my life,' the pop star reveals
All eyes are on the princess of pop: Britney Spears last performed in 2017, and fans are dying for her to make a stage comeback (when regulations permit). In a new video clip, she provides an update to her Instagram followers, but it might not necessarily be the one they were hoping for.
The singer loves tackling questions via social media. In her latest video she revealed that many people are asking her when she'll start playing live again. (She also revealed her shoe size, which is seven). As for touring, the Baby One More Time singer confessed she had no idea.
"I'm having fun right now," Britney said in her video clip. "I'm in a transition in my life and I'm enjoying myself, so that's it."
Naturally, her comments have created more questions than answers.

This isn't the first time Britney Spears has discussed her personal life online in recent months. Following the release of the Framing Britney Spears documentary and the frenzy surrounding her controversial conservatorship, fans were curious how she was holding up.
"The next question is 'Am I OK?' Yes, I'm totally fine," she revealed in an Instagram post. "I'm extremely happy. I have a beautiful home, beautiful children. I'm taking a break right now because I'm enjoying myself."
Fans suggested she wasn't well after as she attempted to end the 13-year-long conservatorship in which her father Jamie has control over her assets. Now, according to Variety, Britney is set to appear in court on June 23 to discuss the conservatorship.

"It's fairly significant that Britney has asked to address the court directly," the creators behind Britney's Gram, a popular podcast, told woman&home. "One of the most troubling aspects of this case is that so many of these hearings happen without her present. People are very excited that Britney will be addressing the court directly in June, and hope it gives her the opportunity to speak freely and without influence about how she feels about her situation."
Many are wondering if she'll be inclined to hit the stage once the situation is resolved. Time will tell, but as long as Britney is happy, her fans are happy.
