When is Taylor Swift on SNL? Star set to perform alongside actor Jonathan Majors
The SNL lineup is a star-studded one this month—expect performances by Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Succession star Kieran Culkin
When is Taylor Swift on SNL is the question on everyone's lips right now as the lineup for this month is already looking pretty awesome and star-studded.
The festivities kick off this weekend, with Succession star Kieran Culkin taking on hosting duties on November 6. This is the actor's second appearance on the show.
Back in 1991, he joined his brother Macaulay on the famous stage, part of a skit in which he played a character named Froggy.
Kieran will be joined by British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, the episode's musical guest (it's his third time around!). Just last month, folks were doubtful about Ed's ability to follow through with his commitment after he tested positive for COVID-19. Since then, though, he has received the "all clear" and is officially out of quarantine.
When is Taylor Swift on SNL?
On November 13, audiences will be treated to Jonathan Majors' hosting abilities. The star of Lovecraft Country makes his SNL debut alongside musical guest Taylor Swift, who will be performing on the show for the fifth time since 2009.
In case you were wondering what exactly Taylor is promoting: the artist is gearing up for the re-recorded version of her chart-topping 2012 album Red to drop on November 12.
Closing out the month on November 20 will be Simu Liu, the star of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, a Marvel production. Liu's SNL debut will be accompanied by a musical act by rapper Saweetie, whose debut studio album, Pretty Bitch Music, is set to drop in early 2022.

A rite of passage for celebrities of all stripes, appearances on SNL are always dissected and rated on Mondays. Take Kim Kardashian West's monologue on the show a mere three weeks ago. Delivered in an oh-so-memorable hot pink, velvet, turtleneck jumpsuit (with matching gloves and boots!) by Balenciaga, Kim's gig was as favorably reviewed as the outstanding outfits she donned throughout the episode.
Will this month's hosts be treated just as nicely? We'll have to wait and see. We wish plenty of luck to them all.
To close out the month, the folks at SNL have snagged Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu as the November 20 host accompanied by musical guest rapper Saweetie, who is also scheduled to release Pretty Bitch Music, her debut studio album, in early 2022.
