This year's baby Halloween costume trend has disturbing origins
Baby Halloween costumes are usually super cute but this year's most popular choice is really disturbing
Baby Halloween costumes ususally popular with excitable parents are the kind that showcase just how cute their little pumpkin is. However, this year's most popular choice among parents is Squid Game!
Squid Game is the new show that has everyone talking and if you're trying to decide what to watch on Netflix this weekend, it's worth considering—unless of course, you don't like gore.
One of the most notable things about the show is the truly stomach-turning and horrendous ways that many unfortunate characters lose their lives. Not exactly the sort of inspiration you'd normally use for a costume to dress your cute little baby in!

The Korean TV show has proven a total hit. Squid Game focuses on a group of people in South Korea who are in the vice grip of poverty, that are tricked into taking part in a deadly tournament of children's games.
They're fighting to stay alive through horrific challenges and for the chance to bag 45 billion South Korean won, which is $38M US (£27M).
Despite the insane level of risk involved in the show, with the odds of surviving very low, the contestants return again—knowing that winning the prize money is the only way they'll ever survive. It's not all fun and games, that's for sure.
One of the most important things to consider when getting a little costume for a baby is, of course, comfort and it being easy to wash poop out of. Considering most of the people in Squid Game wear sweats, maybe that's why parents want to dress their kids like its characters!
