Pop princess Kylie Minogue has been voted the sexiest over-50 in a new poll.

The Aussie star should be feeling so lucky, lucky, lucky after topping a poll of the sexiest over-50s, beating the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Elizabeth Hurley, and Brad Pitt.

Kylie, who is 53, has conquered the worlds of acting and music for decades, since her first appearance on Australian soap Neighbours in the 1980s.

Since then, she has gone on to dominate the pop charts across the globe.

Kylie is the highest-selling female Australian artist of all time, having sold over 80 million records worldwide. She has also been praised for her constant reinvention and ability to transcend trends.

Much like Madonna, often known as the Queen of Pop and the queen of reinvention, Kylie has earned the nickname Princess of Pop throughout most of Europe.

Her accolades include a Grammy Award, three Brit Awards, and 17 ARIA Music Awards.

Her newest accolade comes after Ourtime, a dating app for people over 50, were asked to pick their sexiest over-50.

Bagging herself over one-third of the vote, Kylie pipped Elizabeth Hurley to the top spot with 35%.

Kylie is known for being daring and baring, with the iconic gold hot pants from the music video for Spinning Around being one of the defining fashion moments in pop history.

Almost half of the people over 50 surveyed by Ourtime also stated that they were more confident now than they were in their 20s, while 56% believed the notion that older people stopped having sex was inaccurate.

An Ourtime spokesperson said, “It’s great to see that age really is just a number for most of us.”

A sentiment many women agree with, with research previously finding women over 50 exercise more and are more satisfied with their sex life than those in their 20s.
