There's nothing the Karjenner crew can't do: Rumor has it Caitlyn Jenner is considering running for California governor
From reality star to public figure
If you thought we'd seen the last of celebrities turned politicians, prepare to be disappointed. Rumors have been surfacing that the reality star Caitlyn Jenner is considering running in California's Governor race.
Deadline recently confirmed that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is in serious talks about putting her name on the ballot. And as first reported by Axios, Jenner has also been seen sitting down with GOP operatives to try and execute what Arnold Schwarzenegger accomplished during his 2003 running against Gray Davis.

If Caitlyn does, in fact, pursue a bid for governor, she will be going up against the current incumbent, Gavin Newsom, who has been facing backlash for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gavin has been in talks of a recall election after also being criticized for his immigration and tax policies. He also made headlines when it was revealed that he attended an unmasked indoor dinner party at a restaurant in Napa Valley. This has led spectators to wonder if a Republican governor is in California's near future.
Caitlyn has been open about her Republican views but has also been quite vocal about standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, especially when fellow Republicans try to take those rights away.
We saw this in 2017 when she called out former President Donald Trump over his removal of a policy put in place by the Obama administration that allowed transgender students to use public restrooms that corresponded with their gender identity.

"Well @realDonaldTrump, from one Republican to another, this is a disaster,” Jenner wrote. “You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community. Call me.” Followed along with her message was a video too.

She even condemned President Trump's behavior again in an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post say, "The reality is that the trans community is being relentlessly attacked by this president,” she wrote. “The leader of our nation has shown no regard for an already marginalized and struggling community. He has ignored our humanity. He has insulted our dignity.”
Caitlyn even went further by tagging President Trump in a photo on Instagram with the caption, "Trans people won’t be erased.”
While no official announcement has come from Caitlyn or her representatives, in the past, she has mentioned that getting involved with politics is a possibility.
"I have considered it," she told radio host John Catsimatidis in 2017. "I like the political side of it,” she said. “Over the next six months or so, I gotta find out where I can do a better job. Can I do a better job from the outside? ... Or are you better from the inside, and we are in the process of determining that.”
