Who was eliminated in the Masked Singer season 6 premiere?
In the spirit of the new season, even Mother Nature made an appearance to kick off the show's sixth season. Group A gave it their all, but in a surprise twist, we discovered not one, but two contestants would be unmasked.
The first set of singers featured Mother Nature, Octopus, Skunk, Bull, and Pufferfish. Unfortunately, two singers had to go at the end of night one and Octopus and Mother Nature were the unlucky picks of the night.
In the first unmasking of the season, viewers learned that Octopus was the much-loved Los Angeles Lakers player Dwight Howard. Lucky for judge Kevin though, he had the first correct guess of the season giving him the lead for the Golden Ear trophy.

As we say goodbye to those two stars, we welcome the wild cards Hamster and Baby who shook up night twos performances. As the remaining masked singers from Group A performed their second song of the night, another star had to be eliminated. Pufferfish was unable to get the votes to stay and was the third star to be unmasked. Viewers and the judges were surprised to see that R&B singer Toni Braxton.

The competition is already heating up this season, and we can only guess that there will be more surprises in store as the Masked Singer season 6 progresses.
Who won the Masked Singer season 5?
Last season was a close call, but only one could take home the win. The three finalists were Chameleon, Black Swan, and Piglet who kept the judges guessing all season long. In the end, it was Piglet who took home the trophy and revealed himself to be Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees. Second place went to Black Swan who, unmasked, ended up being pop singer Jojo. Landing third place was the relaxed Chameleon, but under the mask, he ended up being none other than rapper Wiz Khalifa.
With season 5 behind us, maybe we can look forward to an encore performance by Piglet and some more surprising twists along the way.
