The Masked Singer 2021 final: The top theories about Badger, Sausage and Robin
Take it off!
The Masked Singer 2021 will draw to a close on Saturday night and the identities of the final three celebrities - masked as Badger, Sausage and Robin, will finally be unveiled, alongside a special appearance from this Masked Singer star.
The hit ITV show, fronted by Joel Dommett, has had viewers gripped since it came back in January - with returning judges (or detectives) Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Rita Ora, as well as new addition - Mo Milligan, leading the mission to predict the identities of the masked celebrities.
Now, seven weeks later and with the likes of Martine McCutcheon, Gabrielle - who covers her eye for this reason - and Sue Perkins all having been unmasked, the final three contestants - Badger, Robin and Sausage, remain a mystery.
So who do we think the final three Masked Singer celebrities are? Here are the most convincing theories so far…
Sausage
Avid viewers are convinced Sausage is former X Factor star turned Loose Women panellist, Stacey Solomon.
The celebrity hiding behind this elaborate costume is almost certainly a professional singer, as she has dazzled with performances of power ballads such as ‘I’m Telling You I’m not Going’ by Jennifer Hudson and ‘I Will Survive’ by Gloria Gaynor.
Other pivotal clues include a reference to X Factor judge Louis Walsh’s favourite phrase, “You look like a pop star, you sound like a pop star,” and several references to two Essex seaside towns - Clacton and Southend.

As if fans weren’t convinced enough that Essex-based Stacey is Sausage, the TV star revealed she’d adopted a Miniature Daschund (also known as a sausage dog) on Friday night. Which some viewers think could be the final piece of the puzzle. “A ‘sausage dog’ for ‘sausage’ in the Masked Singer perhaps?”
However, Stacey has previously ruled herself out of the competition, telling her Loose Women co-stars, “How inappropriate would it be for me, a lovely Jewish girl, to be dancing around as a pork sausage?”
Although the mum-of-three could be bluffing, another name being thrown into the hat for Sausage is Joss Stone.

Clues hinting at the singer include a royal wedding reference - potentially alluding to Joss’s close friendship with Prince Harry (who stepped down as a senior royal last year) - and several references to the coast, where Joss is originally from.
And if it’s not Stacey Solomon or Joss Stone, it could be Sheridan Smith - who recently opened up about her social phobias.

Viewers have picked up on several Blackpool references - where she recently filmed the Royal Variety Show - as well as the nod to Wales which featured a couple of weeks ago, which could be a tribute to her role as Rudi in Gavin & Stacey.

Robin
Speculation has been rife that Robin is JLS star, Aston Merrygold - largely due to his distinctive voice.
Another potential giveaway is Aston’s costume, as the singer’s first TV appearance came when he performed Rockin’ Robin on Stars in Their Eyes.
Other clues include the dancers wearing 3D glasses during one of Robin’s performances - a potential nod to JLS’ song 3D and the standard of Robin’s dance moves, given Aston Merrygold’s stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
As well as Aston Merrygold - whose appearance on Strictly left fans fuming for this reason - The Masked Singer predictions for Robin include Westlife singer Nicky Byrne - thanks to the “fly without wings” reference in episode 1.

Badger
When it comes to Badger, American singer Ne-Yo is one of the front-runners being suggested by the armchair detectives.
A reference to Badger “seeing things like a virtual world” could be a connection to Ne-Yo’s stage name, which was born when a producer claimed the singer could “see music like the character Neo sees the Matrix.”
As well as Ne-Yo’s distinctive vocals, another clue suggested Badger liked to “make people’s dreams come true” and the Sexy Love singer has been a judge on World of Dance.
Others have suggested Badger could be Jay Kay from Jamiroquai after several references to his love of head-wear.
Another clue used the words “on cloud nine” and the band have a song with the same name.
While it’s driving us nuts trying to guess who the stars are, it’s only a matter of hours before the celebrities are unmasked in tonight’s final of The Masked Singer, 7pm on ITV.
