Giovanni has made it clear that his partner's deafness will not hold them back in this competition as he has been praised for learning sign language and ensuring that they can communicate effectively during rehearsals.
However, their success has not been without their challenges. Previously, Rose and Giovanni made a plea to the NHS together after Rose's hearing aid broke after a sweaty rehearsal.
Despite this hiccough, the Eastenders actress is tipped to win the competition and the couple received the perfect score after their performance on Saturday, October 30, 2021.

Giovanni was delighted with this result and took to Instagram to thank his 'inspirational' partner. "One of the most rewarding moments of my career… and is all down to you Rose! You are an inspiration.. a superstar! I know I can be a lizard sometimes ( most of the time 🙄) but I am very proud of us!!"
"No matter what the scores are, we both know how much we work in the studio every day to achieve those performances !! Hard work always pays off!!! ❣️💪🏻 grateful, honored and privileged to be your Strictly partner!" said Giovanni.
Rose said on her own Instagram, "I am still speechless from last night. What just happened?? I am so so so proud of us. Giovanni is the most hard-working, passionate, caring person ever who really believes in me. He really does bring out the best in me and a lot of credit goes to him for creating this amazing routine. The earliest 40 strictly ever had. WE MADE HISTORY! 💕💕"
