Strictly Come Dancing's Karen Hauer marries Jordan Wyn-Jones in 'fairytale' ceremony attended by fellow pros

Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen Hauer has opened up about her “fairytale” wedding to Jordan Wyn-Jones as she revealed she's tied the knot with her long-term partner.

There might still be many months yet to go before Strictly Come Dancing 2021 winner Rose Ayling-Ellis is succeeded as champion by another celebrity, but ahead of the next series there’s been plenty of Strictly news to grip fans. This includes everything from the reports that Strictly’s Bruno Tonioli has quit the show for good as a judge to Giovanni Pernice and Rose’s lovely reaction to their Strictly BAFTA win. 

Now popular professional dancer Karen Hauer has revealed that wedding bells have officially rung for her and Jordan Wyn-Jones. The couple married in a gorgeous ceremony just after the Platinum Jubilee weekend and according to the Strictly star it was a true “fairytale” wedding. 

Opening up to Hello!, she reflected on how much it meant to them that all their family and friends could come together to celebrate at the stunning hotel and spa, Chewton Glen, on the edge of the New Forest.

"It feels like a fairytale day," Karen said. “It felt so special to bring our families and friends together. I haven't seen my family for the last two years so it’s really touching to bring them here and be able to share this amazing moment with them."

Karen Hauer and her new husband Jordan Wyn Jones first went Instagram-official with their romance last year. Since then the pro dancer has shared several sweet snaps of the pair enjoying time together as their love story blossomed even further. 

Their wedding is understood to have been attended by two of Karen’s fellow Strictly professionals, Janette Manrara (who took over as sister show Strictly: It Takes Two host after Zoe Ball’s Strictly exit) and Luba Mushtuk. 

The former couple separated in 2018 and Karen had also been married once before to Matthew Hauer whom she met on the US show, So You Think You Can Dance? 

Matthew Hauer and Karen’s marriage is said to have ended in 2013 and she’s gone on to find love with Jordan. And it seems that for their wedding the choice of venue is a place very close to their hearts.

Taking to Instagram back in April, Karen tagged Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa as the location for a beautiful picture taken of her and Jordan relaxing in fluffy robes with their adorable dog. 

Captioning it simply, “Happy place ♥️”, fans were quick to comment their delight at this romantic snapshot.

“You're glowing K 🔥🔥 so good seeing you happy 💗🥂”, one wrote admiringly.

Another person agreed, writing, “This is a very happy picture. You deserve your little rest ❤️”.

“Special place! You look so happy ❤️”, someone else responded.

Now Karen Hauer and Jordan Wyn-Jones have married in the same tranquil location surrounded by their nearest and dearest. And with Karen confirmed as part of the professional line-up for Strictly Come Dancing 2022, who knows whether fans might get a glimpse of Jordan cheering her on in the audience when the show makes its triumphant return this autumn.
