Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice reveals romance with Love Island star

Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice has gone public with his romance with Love Island's Maura Higgins.

Rumours that the pair were dating had been floating around for weeks, but the pair have finally gone public on Instagram.

Sharing a sweet picture of them together, Maura wrote, 'I'm yours,' while Giovanni shared another snap with the caption, 'You're mine.'

Their romance comes just months after Maura split from her Love Island co-star Christopher Taylor.

She also dated dancer Curtis Pritchard, who she met in the Love Island villa.

Giovanni broke up with his ex, Ashley Roberts, who he met on the 2018 series of Strictly, in January last year.

He also enjoyed a romance with actress Georgia May Foote, who he was paired with on the show in 2015.

A source recently revealed how Giovanni wanted to go public with Maura at tomorrow's Euro 2020 final at Wembley.

It's thought the Italian football fan was keen to take Maura as his plus one as his 'lucky charm.'

The insider revealed to The Sun, "Gio wants to be there to cheer on Italy again and hopes to take Maura with him.

"Their relationship is getting increasingly serious.

"They spent most of last week together in Blackpool but have had to be apart in the past week due to work.

"Gio has a day off from his new new show next Sunday so is desperate to try and land a couple of tickets for the match."
