Ruth Langsford gives fans a peek into her fitness routine
The presenter has been on a health kick since the summer after admitting to going on a particularly indulgent holiday.
Now, Eamonn Holmes’ wife, who previously revealed she’s now doing weight training and 10,000 steps a day, has given her 577k followers on Instagram more of an insight into her fitness routine.
On Saturday the 58-year-old - who often fronts This Morning and Loose Women – posted a short video of herself jumping on a mini trampoline in her garden while her personal trainer Frank Sinclair relaxed on a mat.
The star, who was clad in a sleek black gym kit, wrote alongside the clip, “Summertime.....no, it’s mid NOVEMBER!!
The mum-of-one added, “What a beautiful day for a workout with @fitwithfrank and a bit of sunbathing time for him!!”
Later that day she shared another video of herself on a rural walk with her dog Maggie.
Captioning the clip, she jokingly asked, “Is it called “Exercise bingeing”?!! #saturday #fitness #walking#10000steps #maggie #rescuedog”

Her admiring fans rushed to comment on her active day.
One user wrote, “go Ruth!!! Nothing like a good workout in the sunshine.”
Another commented, “what a fab inspirational woman you are to everyone.”
Earlier this year, Ruth opened up about her health kick following a family holiday where she “ate what she wanted”.
She has admitted that she particularly wanted to get back in shape so she feels comfortable on screen.
The star, who is mum to 16-year-old son Jack explained, “There are loads of times when I forget to hold my stomach in, and I see a shot of myself and think, ‘Ooh, my pot belly!’ Television really accentuates it.”
Previously, Ruth also told Woman magazine about the impact going through the menopause two years ago had on her appearance.
“I’d been a size 12 my whole adult life until I had my son Jack – and even then I went back to a 12 after probably a year,” she said at the time. “Now I’m a size 14, a proper 14. I noticed my body changing; my waist started to go, my hair was thinning, and my face and neck were getting less firm.”
Shortly after she returned from her indulgent break, Ruth revealed a new fitness routine to her Instagram followers.
Alongside a clip on social media she explained, “Weight training this morning and an unexpected walk around a golf course this evening… #10000steps here I come!”
If her intense workout over the weekend was anything to go by, we want some of her motivation.
