Princess Diana and Meghan Markle have more than family in common, according to a close friend of Diana's. Although the Duchess of Sussex had a very different start in life compared to Lady Spencer's aristocratic upbringing in Althorp House—the pair both were both California dreamin!

Diana's close friend and confidant, Stewart Pearce, told the Daily Mail that before she died she was developing a Hollywood career. "There were a number of major projects brewing in her consciousness through offers that had been offered to her," he said.

"The point was that Diana was really beginning to explore her creative power."

However, the royal had no interest in becoming an actress. Instead, she hoped to produce documentaries about her charitable interests. Sound familiar?

Referring to her instant rapport with the upper echelons of Hollywood's movie industry he said, "I know whomever she employed or worked in liaison with it would have been an excellent standard moving towards the possibility of an award-winning status." He added with confidence, "There is no doubt. She was all full of the action of co-creativity."
